About Lamnos Consulting
Business Consultancy Services
We offer a range of business strategy, learning and development, communication and tender writing services to Start Ups, SMEs and Blue Chips across all sectors.
The top-down industrial model practiced by business and politicians for generations is dead. Globalisation and social media have made it far easier for ordinary citizens to know what’s happening underneath the hood of both organisations and governments. This transparency gives the customer a degree of influence and power unrivalled since the beginning of the industrial revolution.
Customers no longer care for company brochures and press releases, they’ve more than enough information available to them to make up their own minds on what’s going on. They’re only interested in information that is going to help them make an informed choice.
The best strategy for companies in this transparent age is to be ethical and walk the talk.
With this in mind it’s obvious that it’s important to get closer and closer to your customers as understanding their real concerns helps organisations to design meaningful products and services.
Do not do unto others as you would that they should do unto you. Their tastes may not be the same.
One of the most important things in business is to develop a visceral understanding of your customers’ needs, concerns and perspectives. Stand in their shoes, and look at them as they actually are, not what you think they are or should be.
There’s more than one way to skin a cat and we look to use whatever approach is the most relevant and useful to the situation or problem at hand, as opposed to trying to shoehorn a solution into one methodology.
Methodology has its place, but it’s worth remembering that today’s diverse organisations are made up of people from different countries and cultures who invariably have different beliefs.
